Middleton High School, recognized as one of the top 10 best high schools in Wisconsin and serving a student population of around 2,400, embarked on a comprehensive expansion project in two phases.
Completed in 2021, Phase I added a new building to the north end of the school, while Phase II, finished in October 2022, expanded the south end. These additions catered to the diverse needs of students, offering facilities such as a robotics lab, a full culinary kitchen, tech-ed spaces, a recording studio, a television studio, and an additional library space. Addressing the challenges of rapid growth, the expansion also included a second cafeteria, more classrooms, and a concourse connecting the north and south wings for seamless accessibility.
H.J. Martin and Son installed more than 22,000 sq. ft. of glass curtain wall, sliding doors, exterior doors, display case doors, display case glass systems and interior glass; including 7,000 sq. ft. of laminated safety glass.
