Green Bay, Wis. — H.J. Martin and Son has received a 2025 BUILD Wisconsin Award from the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin for its work on the Emplify Health Children & Adolescent Center in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. The project was recognized in the Specialty Contractor – More than $3 Million category. This marks the company’s 27th award since 2006.

The BUILD Wisconsin Awards recognize outstanding construction projects across the state, evaluating entries based on craftsmanship, the ability to overcome project challenges, community impact, and sustainable practices.

H.J. Martin and Son completed several scopes of work on the project, including glass installation, walls and ceilings, and flooring and tile. The team installed approximately 15,000 square feet of glass, including custom sunshades and triple-pane insulated units. Additional work included more than 60,000 square feet of flooring, 60,000 square feet of ceiling grid, and over 330,000 square feet of drywall, requiring strong coordination and craftsmanship across multiple trades.

The new facility brings pediatric and adolescent services together under one roof, including behavioral health care, audiology services, asthma and allergy treatment, and an all-abilities sensory gym designed to support children with diverse needs. The center provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for families throughout the Green Bay area.

The Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin is the state’s leading professional trade association for the commercial construction industry and recognizes projects that demonstrate excellence in construction and a positive impact on the communities they serve
