Wyatt Tompkins joined H.J. Martin and Son in the fall of 2016 as a Project Manager/Estimator, immediately taking on responsibilities on the Marquette Replacement Hospital project-the largest Drywall Division project at the time. In his first three years, Wyatt played a pivotal role as a PM/Estimator on the division's two largest projects to date: Marquette Hospital and Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. His exceptional leadership and ability to manage complex projects led to his promotion to Vice President of Drywall in 2024.

Before joining H.J. Martin and Son, Wyatt gained valuable experience in residential home building from 2014 to 2016. His career in construction is backed by deep industry knowledge and a strong family legacy as a third-generation construction professional. Prior to starting in the construction industry, Wyatt served a 10-month tour in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army Reserve, where he served from 2010-2016.

Recognized as a "Rising Young Professional" by The Daily Reporter, Wyatt's leadership, community involvement, and early career achievements have set him apart in the construction industry. In his role as Vice President, Wyatt oversees the Drywall department, focusing on increasing profits, developing a high-performing team, and securing key projects that reinforce H.J. Martin and Son's position as the leading drywall contractor in the region.

Wyatt earned an A.A. degree in construction management from NWTC in May 2017.
