Partnership with Armstrong, FlorStar aids CP Center
H.J. Martin recently partnered with flooring manufacturer Armstrong and floor covering distributor FlorStar Sales to positively impact a long-time, non-profit organization based in Green Bay, Cerebral Palsy, Inc., and its CP Center.
A flooring remodel took place within the Art Room, a conference room and corridors at the CP Center. Through the upgrade, therapy, childcare, outreach and office operations all were enhanced.
In collaboration with H.J. Martin, Armstrong and Florstar Sales donated around 1,500 square feet of Armstrong Striations 12×24 BioBased tile, a flooring product with stylish, linear visuals. Installers from H.J. Martin utilized their expertise to put the new flooring in place at the CP Center in mid-October.
“The work completed by H.J. Martin was critical in transforming on old, dingy and unprofessional space into a bright, cheerful space that will be used for meetings as well as an art studio here at CP,” says Jon Syndergaard, executive director of the CP Center. “The art studio is an accessible space that will be utilized by our daycare kids as well as adult clients in completing various creative art projects.
“This work will assist in helping them to achieve a higher sense of self-sufficiency and the space will become a substantive part of our core curriculum here. We appreciate the partnership in this exciting project.”
As a local facility offering numerous services and outreach to the community, H.J. Martin has supported the CP Center for many years.
