H.J. Martin’s Woodland part of SPECS Advisory Board
Board will lead program for retail conference now in its 56th year
Newark, N.J. — Chain Store Age magazine has announced that Bret Woodland, a project manager at H.J. Martin and Son in Green Bay, Wis., again will be part of the 2020 Advisory Board to its SPECS Show, an annual event attended by retail and restaurant corporate executives involved in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of stores and restaurants nationwide. Chain Store Age is the event sponsor.
Now in its 56th year, SPECS will host its 2020 conference in Dallas, at the Gaylord Texan, March 15-17.
The 2020 Advisory Board, which is comprised of approximately 45 industry leaders from leading retail chains and key supplier organizations, will advise on the educational program for the 2020 conference, as well as serve as ambassadors for the entire event.
“It is an honor to again be selected to the SPECS Show 2020 Advisory Board,” says Woodland. “I am excited to leverage my experience and my company’s expertise to help create the best lineup of sessions in the conference’s 56-year history.”
Regarding Woodland’s continuance on the board, Chain Store Age’s SPECS Program Director Deena M. Amato-McCoy says, “The right board will ensure a top-notch program. For 2020, we have a board that will guarantee success.”
Woodland and the rest of the board met in Chicago in June to begin planning the 2020 sessions, and will reconvene in Orlando in October to put the finishing touches on the program. For more information on SPECS Show 2020, visit www.specsshow.com.
