I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of a recent change made to HJ Martin & Son, Inc policy with reference to donations. Our company policy has always been to stay active within the community, be aware of the needs, and to contribute fairly to as many non-profit agencies as possible. Because of the growing need for many agencies and organizations to function solely on donations, our in house "Community Outreach" committee has decided to review donations once a year so that we can commit fairly to all agencies and organizations making requests.
That being said, this letter is to notify you that all requests for donations for the upcoming 2008 year must be made by December 31st of 2007. This will allow the committee time to review and allocate funds and materials as fairly as possible. These donation requests are not exclusive to cash, but also include those of you seeking auction certificates and materials. These funds will be payable in the year 2008.
